Hello! My name is Brianna and I love to cook.... enough said ;) While I am a full-time nurse, baking and cooking have been my hobbies for years. I love to experiment and create unique, healthy food that can be enjoyed by all. I am by no means professional, but I am passionate and excited to have you join me on my culinary journey!
Welcome to Bricause. Food. a plant-based recipe blog featuring the food I am passionate about and presented in a way that doesn’t distract from the focus: food. If you are like me, you came here for the recipes, and not to read my life story or random ramblings. So here we will get to the point quickly, garnished with just a pinch of perspective and no more than a dash of digression. After all, because food!
Because Hospitality: I love to make and share food. Food unites people both physically and emotionally. Whether you’re hosting Christmas dinner or a quick weeknight supper, the meal is what brings everyone together around the same table, eating the same food, connecting with one another. Food is welcoming, comforting, and a wonderful excuse to come together and relax.
Because Health: Having a healthy lifestyle is important to me, which is why I choose to follow a plant-based diet. When you focus on vegetables, legumes, whole grains, and fruit, there is little room for junk food. However, that is not to say there isn’t room for some treats as you will see I also feel strongly about ;)
Because Humanity: Another reason I am passionate about a plant-based diet is its positive impact on the earth and its creatures. I love nature and animals; so making choices that do not support their abuse is a priority.
Whether or not you share these as reasons for your kitchen creations, I am certain that we all agree that simply good food is reason enough...Bricause. Food!
